As we continue through uncertain and challenging times, this program is being offered as a space for attendees to discover (or re-discover!) the basics of mindful practice. This program is suitable for any level of practice experience, and a wonderful way to practice in community with others.
It’s an opportunity to create a clearing in your busy life to pause and re-connect with what really matters. A space to rest, to be heard, and to listen deeply.
In every session, we will cover one aspect of mindful practice as a seated meditation, as an “everyday” practice, and as an engaged or relational practice with others. Topics include: Rediscovering the basic practices of mindful breath and body awareness, lovingkindness and compassion, joy and equanimity, mindful communication, and living with intention in the community.

What to Expect
- 8 weekly 60-minute online Zoom-based sessions with Andrea Taylor.
- Each 60 minute session will generally consist of:
- 15-minute introduction and presentation on a particular theme
- 20-minute meditation practice
- 15-minute sharing circle discussion
- 10-minute closing practice and dedication of merit
- Recordings of the introduction and the meditation practice will be made available to attendees
